309 Days to go
Well last post ended with this paragraph: In the end I was up for 30 hours with no sleep, nearly 95% of that time was spent in front of the computer working. I didn’t have time to cook so I just ate some fruit and stale bread, and drank lots of water. And on the verge of fainting I crawled into bed.
And the story continues…
After sleeping 5 hours I woke up. Took care of some errands (and bought lots of cakes) and cooked myself some stuff. I was really anxious to find out what had been happening, how many people had visited the site, how many people had watched the trailer, etc., while I’d been asleep. The answer is: not much and not many. It seems that my press release has been published by a lot of unnecessary websites. As far as I understand, these websites only exist to copy paste companies’ press releases. There are some funky ones which I hope to write more about tomorrow.
I checked my mails. No, nothing. Zip.
It seems I’m still the black sheep of the internet.
BUT, while I was checking my emails, I noticed something. I didn’t have a [email protected] email account on my server! On all the stuff I sent out, [email protected] was the given contact address!!! Which is NOT a good thing!!!!!!
Frankly, I don’t know how I’ve managed to survive all these years. I should have perished a long time ago. I’m most probably going to end up being the poster child for creationists against evolutionists. I’m the antithesis of the theory of evolution.
Anyways, all is not lost. Email servers have continued to check back for three days’ worth of undeliverable emails. In the unlikely event that some human being sent me a mail, I’ll probably be getting it within 24 hours.
All in all, this is no time to make a drama out of a crisis. I’ll save that for next week.
Now I’m going to eat my cake, check my website statistics and play some Starcraft 2, ‘cause I earned it.
